What is the difference between Directory Listing and Receiving Leads?
The Directory Listing (£9.99/mo) gets your storefront onto /find-a-trade — homeowners search and contact you directly. Receiving Leads is free with your tradesperson account: homeowners post jobs and you're matched to relevant ones. Most tradespeople use both. The listing gives you inbound enquiries from people browsing; lead matching gives you fresh job-post alerts.
How much does it cost per lead?
Zero. Unlike Bark, MyBuilder, Rated People, or MyJobQuote — we do not charge per lead. Your £9.99/mo (or £95.90/yr) covers unlimited inbound enquiries from your storefront. Leads from job-post matching are also free with any tradesperson account.
How do competitor platforms compare?
Bark charges £8–18 per lead credit, shared with up to 5 tradespeople. MyBuilder £10–25 per accepted lead. Checkatrade £220+/mo plus per-lead charges. Rated People £12–20 per lead. TradeMatch: £9.99/mo fixed, all inbound enquiries included, you keep 100% of the job revenue. A tradesperson closing 20 jobs a month on Bark spends £260+ on lead credits alone.
Are the leads exclusive to me?
Yes. When a homeowner finds your storefront on /find-a-trade and messages you, that conversation is yours alone — we don't route it to 5 other tradespeople simultaneously. The homeowner chose you because they saw your reviews, photos, and experience. That's the TradeMatch difference.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The Stripe billing portal (linked from your dashboard) cancels at the end of the current billing period. No exit fees, no minimum term. Your storefront stays live until period_end, then drops from the directory.
