Are TradeMatch tradespeople verified?
Every listed tradesperson goes through a 5-step KYC pipeline: identity check, address proof, insurance verification, qualification check, and accreditation review. Vendors carrying gas, electrical or asbestos work are also cross-checked against the relevant statutory register (Gas Safe, NICEIC, ARCA).
How quickly will I get a reply?
Reply time depends on the tradesperson and the urgency of the job. Each storefront can show availability signals when supplied by the vendor. If you need an emergency callout, use /emergency/[trade] instead — that flow surfaces only vendors marked available now.
What happens after I message a tradesperson?
Your message lands directly in their TradeMatch inbox (and email). They reply through the same thread. If you decide to hire, switch to the Post-a-Job flow to set up an escrow milestone — payment is only released when each milestone is approved.
