TradeMatch sampled 2,840 EV charger installations in 2025, controlling for charger model (7kW Pod Point, Wallbox or Ohme — most common UK installs), wiring distance (≤15m from consumer unit), and earthing scope (TT/TN-S/TN-C-S compatible). All installs were OZEV-approved (legally required for EV chargers in dwellings).
